On Tuesday morning, July 1st, groups of children and adults gradually arrived at the Kamenité site in Vyšní Lhoty, filling it up and creating a sense of anticipation in the air. The meeting of children and families with the bishop was just beginning at Prašivá. The joyful atmosphere was significantly enhanced by the sunshine, greetings from friends and acquaintances, and also the first song performed by the choir from Opava, "Who is the Lord of the Jungle." It got many of the thousands present dancing with the help of the moderators and sent them a message, "who is my Lord."

On Thursday, June 19th, we celebrated the feast of the Body and Blood of the Lord. First, we celebrated the Holy Mass during which we received the body and blood of Christ.

On Sunday, June 14th, we participated in the pilgrimage to Libava and we were really lucky with the beautiful weather that pleasantly accompanied us throughout the day.

On Sunday, June 8th, a joint parish event "Parish Fry-Up" took place in the Kučakovec area.

On the eve of the Feast of Pentecost on June 7th, we as a parish experienced a prayer vigil.

Maria Hilf – The Pilgrimage site of Our Lady of Help in Zlaté Hory became a place of prayer for families of the diocese on Saturday, May 10. About five hundred pilgrims arrived at Maria Hilf for the Jubilee of families.

On Thursday, May 8, Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost was elected as the new pope in the fourth round of the conclave, taking the name Leo XIV. Deo gratias!

In the week before the 4th Sunday of Easter (Good Shepherd), we pray for new spiritual vocations.

On March 9, we experienced the Stations of the Cross ceremony together with Bishop on Cvilín. 

The Ostrava-Opava Diocese offers spiritual inspiration for every weekday of Lent for the third year in a row. This time, we can meditate on the Psalms in the parish, communities, and personal prayer. In connection with the Jubilee Year and the theme Pilgrims of Hope, these are the Psalms that sing about hope.

The Lent period begins on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
