On Thursday, June 19th, we celebrated the feast of the Body and Blood of the Lord. First, we celebrated the Holy Mass during which we received the body and blood of Christ. This reception signifies our connection with Jesus Christ. Then followed a eucharistic procession through the community as a sign that Jesus is truly present among us through the Eucharist and that He is in the midst of our everyday lives. The procession with the Blessed Sacrament was accompanied by music, singing, and also children who scattered flowers. We gradually stopped at four altars, each carrying its symbolism. It was a beautiful celebration during which we gave thanks, blessed, requested, and contemplated.
